CWA Local 2336 Election Notice

Pursuant to a voluntary settlement agreement between Communications Workers of America Local 2336 and the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Labor-Management Standards (OLMS), OLMS is supervising a new election for the offices of Local 2336 president, executive vice president, vice president, and secretary treasurer.  All of the positions listed on the ballot will serve as convention delegates.

• Mail ballot packages for the election were mailed to all active members at their last known home address on October 11, 2017.  The mail ballot package includes a ballot, secret ballot envelope, and a return ballot envelope.  The voter will be responsible for providing the necessary postage to return the ballot.

• If you spoil, lose your ballot, or need another ballot for any reason, contact DOL Election Supervisor Yusef Joyner at joyner.yusef@dol.gov or at (202) 513-7313 as soon as possible.  Please allow enough time for DOL to process your request, prepare your ballot package, mail your duplicate ballot, and time for you to vote and return the ballot.

The ballots will be picked up from the post office box at 11:00 a.m. on October 27, 2017.  The ballot tally will be at CWA Local 2336, 151 Riggs RD, NE Washington, DC 20011.  The tally will begin as soon as the ballots are brought to the tally location.
