Good afternoon Sisters & Brothers. 1Year ago today we went on strike against Verizon. It was a long and hard fight but through your efforts we won a good contract. We here at the Local would like to thank everyone for putting up a helluva fight. THANK YOU.
With that effort the Local along with Local 2107, 2108, 2222, and 2300 were awarded the "Golden Picket Award" from the Washington Metro Council of the AFL-CIO.
Again, THANK YOU to everyone for all that you did and do.
